Ohemgee, are we arguing about Kaoru again? ^-^;; Kaoru is fantastical and wonderful and whether he loved Haruhi not is clearly not as important as how much he loved Hikaru. Hatori-sensei is love and does things right. I cheer for KaoMei! Have I resolved everything yet? Seriously, it's weird to me that we keep coming back to this topic. ^-^;; It was like whether Hikaru was forgivable or Satan's spawn two months ago. O.O (Ahem. Let's just pretend I didn't bring up that can of worms.) And I'm sorry for asking this because I think I should know it by now, but when does the new chapter come out? Only a few days, right?  |

Well, I think that without realizing it, you stepped on our point, TehxLauren. If Kaoru wasn't really in love with Haruhi, why bring the subject in the first place? Why have Kaoru saying 'I love Haruhi' if in the next chapter he decides he does not? That's the whole point. THANK YOU That's something that I would love to ask Hatori , to be perfectly honest. Because that is how I feel. But yeah, for the sake of jumping on a subject that has already passed.. both Kaoru and Hikaru are very confusing characters Is it really so strange to believe that someone would give up their crush/love to someone they care about even more? That they couldn't bring themselves to truly hurt this other person? I don't think it's strange I just don't think it's RIGHTThat's pretty brutal, but you know, seen that way, I can understand why Kaoru said those things. It just makes me sad. Kaoru used as a plot device? God, he's more valuable than that... And I guess that's the root of all my angers regarding this matter lol That's probably the case for me too.. If she was trying to avoid conflict then why is Hikaru also interested in Haruhi? Interesting question.. and another thing I would personally love to ask.. If the sole purpose of Hikauru's feelings was for conflict .. and some form of suspense and intrigue...well, it doesn't really work when hardly anybody is convinced that his feelings are going to actually have any sway on the plot, or actually create the mood/atmosphere she was actually intending (well, that is if it was the intention) So in answer to that question.. I honestly don't know.. I guess it's always a possibility that she knew that the conflict would never actually rock the boat in the eyes of the fans, if that makes any sense*shrugs* I don't think she wants to avoid conflict.. People will create conflict for the sake of drama.. I think this is more of an issue of the resolution of said conflict than anything else.. (though having said that, sometimes I do question why authors bother bringing other people's feelings into the mix) Not too unlike the way the author resolved the triangle between Yuki Torhu and Kyo in Fruits Basket.. |

^^To show that a relationship between a guy and a girl doesn't have to be romantic all the time? Many people mistook Yuki and Tohru's relationship for romantic when it was mere friendship. Kyo was never jealous of Yuki and vice versa in the entire 136 chapters. Besides, Megumi was the one who knew that Yuki was putting on a facade all the time he was around people when Tohru thought "he was nice to everyone because he's nice". Tohru couldn't even tell that Yuki was suffering. Megumi could. I find it amazing how other couples were alot more interesting than the main couple in Fruits Basket. Also when you think about it, it's more like Kyo and Yuki started talking to each other and got along because of Tohru and not because they're competing over her. Like when Yuki blames Kyo for making Tohoru upset"you stupid cat!" XD The rivalry was because of the cat and mouse thing and not Tohru. No spoilers yet  |

Same here!!!! I really hope they are in today or tomorrow or something so I can get them done superfast. BTW My laptop crashed... again. Dell had sent me a refurbished hard drive, so now I get to complain to someone on customer support and make them sent me a brand new hard drive. Howeverrrrrrrrrrrr we wiped the hard drive on our desktop (what I'm currently using) because when we switched internet companies, for some reason we couldnt get internet (some kind of virus or something probably). Now we have internet and I can still use this computer. Our break started yesterday -dances- That means I have time to actually get the chapter done, super fast! lol -crosses fingers- I thought the other post meant that she saw the new chapter out already so I thought she was referring to chap 67 XD anyways thanks! I will be back in abit to comment on all of this, it's been a hectic week all the way around for me. VK is out I wrote a little summary about it on the other topics side. I cried at that chapter. It was the best VK chap yet in my book. Can't wait to track down Ouran  |
