I think Fruits Basket did it in a similar way, I loved that ending. I don't remember it as much, but that very very ending part was touching. It only showed a little bit of the characters we knew so well, and that was enough.
I really liked the Fruits Basket ending! It closed everything up so nicely and left me satisfied. I just finished Fruits Basket recently and have reread the ending pages several times, so I know it quite well. It doesn't even say anything along the lines of "(however many) years later", it just shows a little girl asking about Tohru and Kyo and then it shows their backs as they're holding hands. So simple, yet so satisfying! I would be very happy if Host Club had a similar ending, I just don't want everyone to get partnered up... |

about 10-15 more chapters i think? -Haruhi's confession is going to be interesting, but do remember it wont be like now when she admits it (we're still in the Tamaki arc at the moment) -Kyouya's family has got to be looked into in further detail. Maybe he would succeed the company himself? -Also if Kousaka and Ranka were to get together-that may cover 2-3 chapters? seriously 2010? It can not be the End/closure of Ouran yet!?  'WAHHHHHHH' |

Guesstimating....less than 10 or so. Pretty much everything is being unveiled during this arc, which signals an upcoming end. It won't be long now till we see the words "THE END" D:
